BADDLUN Races are community events by and for outdoor adventure minded folk. They are informal gatherings of friends and like-minded individuals. There are no entry fees**, no prizes, no teams, no insurance, no safety, no aid stations, no team cars and no search and rescue...we do this here shit for fun.

Racers will bike, paddle and run around, on and through some of the more rough and tumble places in the eastern Estados Unidos.

Forewarned is Forearmed.

• Each race will consist of a bike section, a kayak section and a run section...in that order.

• Choice of equipment is entirely up to the individual racer and should be based on skill level, fitness, course and conditions.

• New River BADDLUN is really the Captain Thurmond's Challenge. Points will be awarded based on finish times and successful completion of one other BADDLUN Series event.

• Russell Fork BADDLUN points will be worth 15 additional points for all finishers.

Why? Cuz it's the Russell Fork

• The racer with most total points after all the events is the 2010 BADDLUN Series champion...whoopee.

Scoring is based on each events finish order as follows:

1st - 20 pts
2nd - 16 pts
3rd - 13 pts
4th - 10 pts
5th - 8 pts
6th - 6 pts
7th - 5 pts
8th - 4 pts
9th - 3 pts
10th - 2 pts
11th to last - 1 pt

* Green River BADDLUN event has not been pulled off yet...maybe someday.

** Entry Fees have gotten insane. What are these races spending all their entry money on? It's definitely not the race or prizes. Unless they are donating to a charity it's a SCAM.
